1. Tell us about the InnoDraw concept.

InnoDraw is a measuring company using state of the art software which allows the licensee to take detailed measurements of any interior to assist designers and architects. The licensee arrives at the site with his equipment (which he carries on his shoulder) and quickly scans the required area in less than an hour. The measuring device immediately creates a floor plan on the computer and when the measurements are completed, they are uploaded and emailed directly to the designer in seconds. The software is compatible with all computer design software. Its that simple.

2. How long have you been with InnoDraw?

I am now in my 8th year. The founder however has been involved with researching and creating measuring solutions for over 30 years.

3. What was your background prior to joining InnoDraw?

My background is actually in marketing. Besides the ongoing running of the company, I am passionate about insuring that InnoDraw is correctly and efficiently exposed to as many designers and architects as possible. Many of them still don’t realize that such an efficient and accurate form of measuring is available, and it is my mission to promote and expose our efficient measuring technology to as many of them as possible. This will in turn also enhance the businesses of our licensees.

4. What are some of the advantages in being an InnoDraw licensee?

Our licensees have a wonderful quality of life. They work on their own and at their own speed. They manage their own diaries and can do as many or as little measuring jobs in a day that they wish. We do not put our licensees under any pressure. The cost of entry is low enough for just about any one. They can really earn good money if they work efficiently and smartly.

5. Who is your ideal licensee?

Our ideal licensee is someone who is a self-starter, likes to be independent and likes to work on his own for himself. At the same time, we want him to represent InnoDraw with pride and work to our easy policies and procedures.

6. Tell us a little about the measuring industry and market?

Since the beginning of time, building has been part of what humans have always done in one form or another, and while doing so, measurements were always required. Until recently, the old fashioned measuring tape, pen and paper have been used to measure and plan all building requirements. We at Innodraw have now perfected the art of measuring using “state of the art” technology, assisting designers and architects design whatever they are building, be it homes, offices, kitchen counter tops or whatever is required to be built. So far, we have already successfully undertaken over a quarter of a million measuring jobs.

7. Do you have a mentor and is their someone you use for inspiration?

Obviously our business motto is “Our success is the success of every InnoDraw licensee”. I get my inspiration from Elon Musk and Richard Branson. Nothing ever seems to be too big of a challenge for these amazing people.

8. What advice do you have for someone looking to acquire a small business?

When choosing your small business, 3 simple questions need to be asked and answered.

a. Can I afford this business? Yes or No?

b. Will this business allow me to earn enough money to have enough free time to enjoy a good quality of life? Yes or No?

c.    Will this business allow me to get a very quick return on my investment? Yes or No

9. In your opinion, why do you think that InnoDraw would be a great opportunity for someone?

Because the answer to all three questions above is Yes, Yes, Yes!
