Date

Jan 23, 2016

RNR Tire Express and Custom Wheels has just earned the top spot in Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500 for the Wheels & Tires franchises businesses category. Its overall ranking at the 330th spot is the highest ranking the Tampa-based franchise business has achieved since 2008 and represents a climb of 126 spots from 2011’s ranking. RNR has been on the Franchise 500 list annually since it first debuted on it in 2007, and it was also one of the "Top New Franchises" in 2008.

RNR President Larry Sutton spoke about the honor, saying the company is honored to be included in the Franchise 500. RNR’s team, Sutton says, has worked very hard to continue to grow the system and support its franchisees. RNR is currently experiencing steady growth, with store sales in the system increasing and current franchisees adding new locations in their protected areas.

Vice President of Franchise Development for RNR Vince Ficarrotta said the interest in the company has grown continually over the last three years. The franchisees validate the system and continue expanding into new locations, so he believes RNR will continue its upward growth trend over the next few years.

The top franchises for 2016 on the Franchise 500 reveal the trends and industries that are going to expand going forward. RNR, which was founded in 1999 and began franchising in 2003, has consistently made the ranking and now operates in 21 states in the US. Within the system, there are 15 franchisees who own more than 65 locations nationwide.
