LOUISVILLE, Ky., Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants,
Inc. has reached an agreement to bring the restaurant
chain to Louisville, KY., under the ownership of Joe Roberts.
?Dickey's Barbecue is simply the best. I have been eating there for years in Texas and am excited for the opportunity to bring it to my hometown of Louisville,? said Roberts, who will own and operate the new location.
This will be the second Dickey's location in Kentucky and the first for Louisville.
?I'm excited about opening my own restaurant and one that I believe in, from the brand to the business to the people behind it, it's an honor to be a part of the Dickey's family,? said Roberts.
The restaurant remains anchored in Texas, where the first location opened in 1941.
