Local Greensboro Entrepreneur to Introduce Eco-Friendly and Family-Focused Auto Maintenance and Repair Services to Area Residents
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Honest-1 Auto Care, the only national full-service auto repair and maintenance franchise that is 100 percent ESA® Certified Eco-Friendly, today announced the signing of a franchise agreement with local entrepreneur Erik Rhyne to open a location in Greensboro, N.C. The new Honest-1 Auto Care will be the brands first location to open in North Carolina.
In addition to practicing environmentally responsible auto repair and maintenance services, Honest-1 Auto Care is a family and female-friendly center, with clean and upscale waiting areas, Internet cafes allowing customers to work while their cars are serviced, children’s play areas so parents can relax, comfortable chairs and couches, HDTV and complimentary custom coffee stations.
Rhyne, a Greensboro native, previously served as a parachute rigger in the 82nd Airborne 782nd Battalion before becoming a master technician at BMW. His experience with the luxury automaker included repair, diagnosis and sales. He currently serves as the market manager for an integrated technology company that distributes marketing data for auto dealers. As market manager, Rhyne manages technical diagnosis and relationships with dealership sales and general managers.
Rhyne, who first heard of the Honest-1 franchise opportunity after his mother connected with the COO of Honest-1 Auto Care, Rissy Sutherland, on a business flight. Rhyne was drawn to the environmentally friendly and honest business model. He saw it as an opportunity to take control of his career and financial future.
“I want to establish Honest-1 Auto Care as ‘the’ eco-friendly auto repair and maintenance business in town. Hopefully, it will encourage other businesses in the community to ‘go green’,” said Rhyne. “I am thrilled to be part of a business that exceeds auto industry standards to protect the environment.”
While offering exceptional service programs for customers to choose from, Honest-1 Auto Care also offers specialized, eco-auto care programs for those who want to play a greater part in helping the environment. An example is the ECO TuneUp® with our Eco-360 fuel treatment. Through a partnership with Green Earth Technologies, Honest-1 also sells G-OIL Ultimate Biodegradable motor oil, made completely of renewable animal fats.
Rhyne joins a growing number of entrepreneurs nationwide who have opened Honest-1 Auto Care shops to meet the growing demand among consumers for honest and eco-friendly auto maintenance services. His future plans consist of opening additional Honest-1 Auto Care locations in the Greensboro area.
“Our business principles are focused on honesty, integrity and environmental protection,” said Jack Keilt, President and CEO of Honest-1 Auto Care. “Erik is dedicated to those principles, and we are very excited to have him join the Honest-1 Auto Care family.”
