The Pizza Press Sparking FL Franchise Business Growth

The leading build-your-own pizza franchise business The Pizza Press recently announced its ambitious development plans for bringing 20 new locations to Florida. As a new market concept, this leading fast-casual brand will be boosting growth using strategic partnerships and is set to open three new stores in the Hamlin and Windermere areas over the upcoming years. Other Florida markets with target franchise opportunities include Tampa, Jacksonville, Melbourne and Orlando.

The first location in this plan in the Sunshine State is owned by Jose Colon and Carlos Orama, multi-unit franchisees who already own the Celebration, Florida, location. Colon first became impressed with the concept when he was vacationing with family in California and visited the Pasadena store there. After seeing the newspaper-era theme of this brand and enjoying some of its signature pizzas, Colon decided to open a store in Florida, his home state, with the help of friends and family. Karina Colon, his sister, is the general manager of his locations and handles daily operation supervision.

A unique concept that is evolving the "build-your-own-pizza" model, the Pizza Press's design is inspired by the dough press and the 1920s era of the America newspaper. Guests can craft their own pies or choose a signature dish that is named after a major newspaper, such as The Times and The Tribune. Each location offers more than a dozen on-draft craft beers that are regularly rotated and vary by site.

Currently, The Pizza Press is offering single and multi-unit franchise opportunities to qualified people who are community-minded. This growing brand is hoping to have 30 locations open by the middle of the year and 300 franchise business locations awarded by the year 2020. The franchise fee is $35,000, and the initial investment ranges from $455,350 to $791,500.
