The Growth Coach Franchise Business Welcomes President

Apr 27, 2019

Back in 2015, Lisa Hudson became a franchise business owner with Growth Coach. She was driven by her desire to make a real difference in her local community by assisting businesses leaders as they built stronger businesses and more balanced lives. Now, Hudson is taking her passion even further as the brand's new president.

This group-coaching workshop brand is the largest provider of its type in the US. Coaches offer one-on-one and group coaching for self-employed professionals, managers and their teams using their three series: Foundational, Fundamental and Fast Forward. There is also GC Insights, a program that taps into human potential to build stronger leaders and better teams via behavioral analysis.

Hudson launched her own franchise with the coaching brand back in 2015 and has a background in corporate leadership. Before taking advantage of one of the brand's franchise opportunities, Hudson served in an executive role for a major retail brand for nearly two decades. She has worked with teams of 60 to 450 employees and used her development skills and leadership strategies to drive successful business results. In that former position, she often ended up in a coaching role, which is what inspired her to join the Growth Coach brand. She is certified in The Strategic Mindset coaching process, which follows the policies, practices and standards of the ethics code from industry nonprofit the International Coaching Federation.

Hudson says she fully enjoyed her work as a coach, and she views her new president role as an extension of the work she has done for her clients as a franchisee. According to Hudson, the new role gives her the chance to reach more people and provide the leadership and support franchisees need to be supportive and effective coaches for their clients.

The new president is the first woman to serve in this leadership role for the brand, and she is excited by the growth the company has enjoyed since she started with them in 2015. Hudson also feels her background as a franchisee will be an advantage as it gives her insight into what clients need and what the brand can do on the corporate level for franchisees to be more successful.

The Growth Coach is under the Strategic Franchising Systems' umbrella of brands, and the parent company's Chief Operations Officer, Chris Seman, is thrilled to have Hudson on board. Seman says that Hudson's extensive location performance improvement and management backgrounds, when coupled with her time as a franchisee, will give her a significant edge in her new position.

The Growth Coach first began franchising in 2003 and is now in more than 100 markets around the globe. It has received many franchise accolades, including recognition by Entrepreneur Magazine in its "Franchise 500" ranking and by Bond in its "Top 100 Franchises" list. This brand is still growing and has franchise opportunities available in several markets. The initial investment ranges from $55,125 to $76,025, which includes a $42,900 franchisee fee for the first territory.
