Wayback Burgers Franchise Business Cooks Up New Menu

Wayback Burgers, one of the fastest-growing burger franchise business brands in the nation, has revealed a sleek new menu board that aligns with its goal of menu innovation and top-tier customer service. Guests at this brand's location started seeing the new menu in early March with its "Signature Burger" section that highlights the four top-selling burgers. The new menu also has a "Chicken & More" panel that includes the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and the immensely popular Cheesesteak, which is now a permanent item. In the "Craft Your Own" panel on the revamped menu, guests can follow a four-step process to customize their order by picking their protein, cheese, toppings and sauce options.

Brand President John Eucalitto said that while the menu has gotten a makeover, the recipes for the company's popular shakes, fries and burgers have remained the same. According to Eucalitto, the company wanted to offer a visually appealing menu board for customers that was easy to order from and really suited the shakes, fries, burgers and other menu items guests love.

In addition to the new sections, Wayback's milkshakes now have a "one-size-fits-all" option complete with whipped cream, and there's a dedicated section for sides and another panel for salads, the kid's menu and drinks. As part of the rollout of the new menu, the brand is now offering "Pick a Pair." Guests can pair chicken sandwiches, burgers and other menu choices with regular-sized fries and drink, chips and a drink, full-sized fries and a drink, or onion rings, and they can also upgrade drinks to the chain's famous hand-dipped milkshake.

Senior Vice President Patrick Collins said that while the company naturally values tradition, sometimes changes are necessary for improvement. It was guest requests for more flexibility and custom options that led to the menu board changes. Despite the addition of new items, Collins added that it is now easier to order from the menu than before.

Established in Delaware back in 1991, Wayback Burgers has since grown, with locations in 28 states and overseas including in Brunei, Sudan and Malaysia. This burger brand offers a retro feel alongside a full menu featuring everything from burgers to salads and has franchise opportunities open across many markets. The total initial investment for one of these franchise opportunities is around $350,000 for the 1,600-square-foot prototype.
