Scooter’s Coffee Entered on Top Franchise Business List

Date

Aug 22, 2018

Midwest coffee franchise business Scooter's Coffee has been labeled as one of just 50 brands to qualify for independent satisfaction research company Franchise Business Review (FBR)'s "Top Franchise Leaders" list for 2018.

Todd Graeve has been the brand's CEO for the past two years, after working his way up through the company. Under his leadership, this coffee chain is up to nearly 200 locations and is also expanding its presence in the Midwest.

To select the franchise leaders on this list, FBR reviewed 18 months of data from around 27,000 franchises across 240 brands that addressed their brand's culture and leadership and their level of satisfaction with their brand, along with their likelihood of recommending it to others. Franchisees with the coffee brand were asked 33 benchmark questions about their satisfaction and experience that covered various areas, including training and support, operations, leadership, financial opportunity and the franchiser-franchisee relationship.

Brand COO Mike Rogers said that the coffee brand is working to always deliver the best service possible while improving the lives of everyone who comes into contact with them. It's that commitment to service, Rogers said, that extends to its franchisees. Scooter's views the satisfaction of franchisees as being vital to its overall success, and the COO added that the brand is thrilled with the positive results from the survey and credited Graeve with fostering a community-like atmosphere in the company as it expands.

FBR President and COO Michelle Rowan said that most franchisees the firm talks to have invested to make a profit, but they also want an executive team that cares about their success and regularly communicates with them in an open and transparent way. According to Rowan, the fact that Graeve was chosen by the same people whose success depend on his leadership is a clear recognition of his vision, talent and dedication to the satisfaction of franchisees.
