PuroClean Giving Free Franchise Business to Veteran

Date

Jul 10, 2019

Damage remediation and flood water removal franchise brand PuroClean just announced its second PuroVet free franchise business contest, encouraging all US military veterans who are ready to own their own business to apply by the beginning of October. The winner of this giveaway will have the initial $50,000 franchise free covered. The aim of this program is to provide military personnel with a chance to transition from their time spent in service to an entrepreneurship with the brand.

From Memorial Day forward, retired, honorably discharged, reserve and active-duty military veterans may apply or be nominated for the contest by members of the public at the brand's BeAPuroVet.com website. Submissions need to include a resume and a business plan that details how the candidate will run the business. Brand executives will be reviewing all submission on preparation, probability and overall business sense. The finalists for this franchise opportunity will be invited to meet with brand COO and President Steve White, and the winner from that pool will be announced on Veteran's Day.

White, who is part of the VetFran committee from the International Franchise Association and a veteran captain with the US Army, said that veterans are well-suited for a franchise opportunity because they have team-oriented values, a commitment to serve others and leadership skills. According to White, veteran franchisees in PuroClean's network are some its top performers today, and the company is proud to support service members with the return of the PuroVet giveaway.

VetFran, which was formed to educate franchisers and veterans about the opportunities and advantages of veteran franchisees, recently carried out a study that showed that 99 percent of the franchiser respondents reported veterans were a good fit for their company, with 97 percent saying veterans made excellent franchisees.

In addition to this contest, PuroClean also gives US Armed Forces veterans a 25 percent discount on the initial franchisee fee, which represents a savings of $12,500. All of the brand's franchisees receive comprehensive training at its state-of-the-art training facility, some of the biggest territories in the industry and a myriad of options for financing.

With more than 280 franchise locations across North America, this still-growing brand provides commercial and residential customers with flood water removal, mold removal, smoke and fire damage remediation, water damage remediation and biohazard cleaning services. This franchiser is still looking for qualified franchisees in many markets, and the initial investment ranges from $71,190 to $166,415.
