Minuteman Press International, a Long Island-based franchise business, just sponsored two golf outings to help raise awareness and funds for local organizations and families. According to brand President and CEO Bob Titus, the franchiser was happy to give back to Long Island, where it has strong roots.

On August 27, the brand sponsored and took part in the 13th Annual Fore Erika Golf Classic, which was held in the Indian Hills Country Club of Northport, New York. Every year, Fore Erika raises money to assist the family of Erika Josephson with the staggering medical costs associated with her rare condition, CHARGE syndrome. In addition to her condition, Erika suffered a brain injury and a heart attack when she was just one year old, which has left her with physical and medical issues. Despite the fact that she is legally deaf and blind and has had 57 surgeries so far, the now-23-year-old Erika continues to inspire the community, and her family is incredibly grateful for the support they have received.

Just two weeks before the Fore event, Minuteman sponsored and took part in the 8th Annual Rose Brucia Golf Outing, which took place at The Hamlet Golf & Country Club of Commack, New York. This event benefits the Rose Brucia Educational Foundation, which works to reduce child abductions via the empowerment and education of children. Their work includes the Stranger Safety Awareness Program, which was created by a team of top educators and is implemented by the foundation into schools free of charge.

This printing and marketing franchise has been part of Long Island since 1973, when father-and-son team Roy and Bob Titus opened their first center in Plainview. Today, this brand has 26 centers on Long Island and close to 1,000 locations worldwide, and there are still franchise opportunities available. The initial investment for one of these franchise opportunities ranges from $108,115 to $163,865 with leased equipment.
