Baked goods and coffee leader Dunkin’ Donuts recently announced the signing of an agreement with a new franchise group, Hyde Park Ventures. The multi-unit agreement is to develop four new locations in the northwest part of Arkansas and ten stores in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Hyde Park Ventures has also acquired four other existing Dunkin' Donuts locations in Springdale, Fort Smith, Bentonville and Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Headed by Jody Goehring and Greg Vasey, the Hyde Park Ventures partners bring with them extensive operation, retail and financial experience, and they currently run quick-service restaurant franchise locations in Vermont and Massachusetts. Their first new Dunkin' locations are slated to open in Arkansas and Oklahoma in 2017.
Hyde Park Ventures Managing Partner Greg Vasey says the group is thrilled to expand Dunkin' Donuts’ presence in Arkansas and Oklahoma and play an important role in the daily lives of people who live and visit the two states. Vasey also spoke of the group's loyalty to and passion for the Dunkin' brand.
The Dunkin' Donuts franchise business has an eye on competition and is focused on keeping the brand fresh, so it does offer flexible concepts for varying real estate formats. There are currently concepts available for in-line sites, convenience and gas, travel plazas, schools and more.
Dunkin's Brand Vice President of Global Franchising and Business Development Grant Benson noted that the dedication and enthusiasm of franchisees is what has driven Dunkin's impressive growth. Benson says the company is thrilled that Vasey and Goehring have joined the Oklahoma and Arkansas markets and that these new locations will satisfy the consumer demand in the local communities they'll be serving.
