Expedia® CruiseShipCenters®, the top North American cruise franchise business, has entered into an agreement with Rocky Productions, which is the parent company of well-known rock-and-roll band Rocky and The Rollers. This famous act will be exclusive to the travel agency's customers, and in addition to its stable of globally-recognized national acts, they will host autograph sessions and perform private concerts for those aboard specific Royal Caribbean cruises.

The collaboration is set to launch in early November 2019 aboard the Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas eight-night cruise. This “Rockin’ the Caribbean” cruise will have plenty of rock-and-roll themed events, dances and concerts headlined by well-known national acts such as Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, Freddy Cannon, Johnny Contardo, Jon “Bowzer” Bauman and more. In the future, the brand hopes to expand this offering beyond its Caribbean itineraries and into places like Europe, Australia and Alaska.

Gerry “Rocky” Seader, from Rocky and The Rollers, said that the band is thrilled to be working with the cruise agency, and that their shows will provide an enhanced experience for passengers. With close to four decades of touring experience in a variety of situations, including concert halls, black-tie events and festivals, Rocky and The Rollers has toured with and performed for over 300 great recording acts of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

Brand President Matthew Eichhorst said the group amazes audiences with its genuine professionalism and high-energy sets and that every song they perform is very close to the original record. The company can't wait to share the experience with cruise passengers, according to the president.
