Dream Vacations - part of World Travel Holdings, the largest cruise agency in the world - is hitting the high seas in the Norwegian Bliss for their annual week-long National Conference. Each year, this award-winning conference has a theme that focuses on supporting and motivating the travel agent networks. This year's theme, "INSPIRE," was chosen with input from those agents.
Brand General Manager of Network Engagement and Performance Drew Daly said the company is fortunate to be part of a fun industry because they are always looking to find new ways to inspire the agent network, the network's clients and their travel partners as innovators in the field. Daly added that the agents also see each other as family and support and inspire each other, with the conference providing a platform for agents to meet each other and their suppliers.
The "INSPIRE" theme is meant to set the tone for the conference and upcoming year, with the main goal of the brand's agents being the inspiration of travel using knowledge when planning the perfect vacations for their clients. It will also provide the direction to focus on the future of the travel industry, which is always evolving in the tech age, and the future of each individual agent's franchise business by teaching attendees how they can take their service to the next level.
Over the course of the week, those attending the conference will take part in networking events; motivational general sessions; one-on-one meetings with tour, resort and cruise suppliers; educational workshops; and peer-to-peer brainstorming meetings. They will also learn how to use the brand's tech innovations, training programs and marketing and sales programs to boost their businesses.
Franchisee Ray Teet of Florida said he has only missed one conference since 2011 due to a travel conflict. According to Teet, you cannot place a value on the experience, during which you learn and network with other franchisees, associates and headquarters staff.
