Big Frog Custom T-Shirts Expands Franchise Business

High-tech custom garment decorating franchise business Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More just announced plans to develop 12 more locations through partnerships with franchisees over the next few years.

This award-winning and rapidly-growing chain has already grown to over 100 stores across 25 states, and now Big Frog is primed to develop Louisiana's open market and is offering several franchise opportunities there. Louisiana does have one Big Frog store in the City of Hammond, which opened less than a year ago and has already noted record-breaking business.

In the company's overall history, the Hammond location is among the top three strongest performers over its first six months of operation. Christi and Joey Marceaux, the Hammond store's operators and owners, moved into that area after they were displaced in 2005 by Hurricane Katrina. According to Joey Marceaux, being a one-of-a-kind service provider has allowed their location to receive a strong response from the local community. Before the couple's store opened, residents struggled to find custom garment products.

As the brand looks toward development in the southeastern part of the country, Louisiana has emerged as an attractive market. With open real estate, a supportive business climate and already-successful franchisees there, Big Frog is now looking to find qualified applicants for its franchise opportunities in many key markets, including Bossier City, Monroe, Lake Charles, Shreveport, Lafayette, Denham Springs, Baton Rouge, Metairie, Mandeville, Kenner and Greater New Orleans.

Brand President Tina Bacon DeFrece said the state is an open market, and with the success of the Hammond store, it's clear there is an opportunity for new owners to make a splash in the area.
