Arooga's Announces New Rhode Island Franchise Business

Date

Apr 21, 2016

Arooga's opens a location on Greenwich Avenue in Warwick, Rhode Island.   The new store is part of a multi-unit development agreement for New England signed by the franchise business chain and the Mohegan Holding Company, LLC back in May of 2014. The franchisee group opened the first location under the agreement a year ago in Uncasville, Connecticut, which has since gone on to become an area favorite.

The new Warwick location measures more than 7,000 square feet and features over 100 TV sets, handcrafted cocktails made with premium spirits and real fruit juice, outdoor seating, 40 national and local craft beers on draft, and a varied menu with cooked-to-order items. Arooga's Warwick is going to be the first restaurant certified by the Green Restaurant Association in the state and is expected to add at least 75 jobs to the region.

Arooga’s Co-Founder and President Gary Huether, Jr. said the company is excited to bring another location to New England in its partnership with The Mohegan Tribe.

More About the Arooga's Franchise Opportunity

Arooga’s first opened its doors back in 2008, with the goal of offering guests the ultimate experience in sports bar dining by providing the latest in service and technology and healthy dining alternatives, including organic and hormone-free and antibiotic-free foods. The company began franchising in 2014, signing the 15-unit development agreement with the Mohegan Tribe, and has since closed deals for close to 100 units across the northeast part of the US.

Currently, the sports bar brand has locations available in many markets. Qualified franchisee applicants must commit to opening at least four locations and have a net worth of no less than $500,000 per location. The initial franchisee fee is $49,500, and the total investment ranges from $740,000 to $2,400,000.
