Outstanding Advances Announced at the LA BOXING 2009 Franchise Convention in Las Vegas

The annual gathering mixes business and entertainment, and brings together franchisees and vendors

SANTA ANA, CA--(LAB NEWS WIRE)—December 22, 2009—LA BOXING’s 2009 National Franchise Convention concluded with a flourish last week in Las Vegas. Underscoring the strength and continued growth of LA BOXING’s franchising system was the enthusiasm of its franchisees and the vibrancy of its vendor community. The mood of this year’s high-spirited gathering was evident from the collective feeling of optimism expressed by all the convention attendees.

“The energy level and sense of pride I saw at this year’s convention have been truly inspiring,” said Carl Kosnar, Managing Partner of The Kosnar Group, franchise development consultants for LA BOXING Franchise Corporation.  “This is an exceptional group of franchisees who are committed to helping people live healthy lives and are proud to be part of the LA BOXING franchise family. Success in the franchise business is all about relationships, and we view the annual convention as a means to communicate with our franchisees, foster an open exchange of ideas and information, and build bridges between gym operators and vendors.” Kosnar added.

In addition to attending specialized presentations and seminars intended to motivate, educate and reinforce the company’s core values, franchisees explored the latest products and services, viewed vendor demonstrations, and shared expertise. Anthony Geisler, President of LA BOXING Franchise Corporation, presented a number of awards, including the “Club of the Year Award” to partners Brian Sreniawski and Milind Shah of Arlington, Virginia.  Other award recipients were Mike Searls for “Most Improved Club” located in Westminster, Colorado, and Marc Stelley for “Top Operations” in El Paso, Texas.

This year’s convention was highlighted by the announcement of increases in average gym revenue sales figures. Other program topics included new gym marketing campaigns and promotional messaging, increased online marketing campaigns using Facebook and other social networking sites, search engine marketing, and new product introductions such as an all-new Main Event boxing glove design and apparel offerings.

In the operations and sales category, store averages were up all across the board with substantial gains in average store EFT, member base, monthly sales, and total sales year to date.

The last convention presentation was a fashion show of all the latest LA BOXING fashion apparel. The company hosted a reception that evening allowing for more franchisee dialog and interaction.
