GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Kumon, the world's
largest after-school math and reading enrichment program, opens a
new center in Greenwood Village. The public is invited to attend
the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce's Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting
event and a parent information session on Tuesday, June 14th, at
11:00 a.m.
"At Kumon, we believe that every child has the potential to be successful," said Dr. Salim Lakhani, owner of the new Kumon Center in Greenwood Village. "My aim is to help my students to acquire strong academic skills and confidence to excel beyond the classroom."
Kumon assists children in mastering the fundamentals of math and reading with the aim for students to study above their school grade level independently. The individualized Kumon approach helps children progress by ability rather than age or grade. In the U.S., 200,000 students from preschool to high school are developing advanced skills and confidence through Kumon’s Method of Learning.
