Cincinnati (June 9, 2008) – Home Helpers, the #1 Senior Care franchise in North America, has named current Chief Operating Officer Emma Dickison president, effective Monday, June 9.

Dickison came to Home Helpers in October 2007 with nearly 20 years of experience in franchise management in the education and entertainment industries, managing services and support for more than 1,000 franchisees across the country.

“Emma’s extensive experience in franchise management lends itself well to our vision for Home Helpers and its continued growth,” said Gary Green, CEO of Home Helpers and several other franchises. Former president of Home Helpers, John F. Buckles will move to the lead position for another brand, Caring Transitions, which provides Senior moving, downsizing and estate sales services.

In 2008, Home Helpers was named #1 Senior Care Franchise and “Best of the Best” by Entrepreneur magazine. In addition, Home Helpers also earned a spot in the top 20 percent of Franchise 500®, Entrepreneur’s ranking of America’s overall best franchises – the third consecutive year Home Helpers has garnered this distinctive honor. Home Helpers scored highly across all of Entrepreneur’s ranking categories, which included statistics on franchisee support, growth and size. The franchise was listed in the top 20 homebased and fastest-growing franchises as well.

“Home Helpers has an excellent reputation and is well-positioned to continue its growth and leadership in the industry,” said Dickison. “I am looking forward to moving into this role and continuing our tradition of excellent franchisee support that has earned us such a strong position in the market.”

Home Helpers does not work from a standardized checklist of services. Each individual client is unique, and service offerings are tailored to their specific needs. From basic companionship to running errands, providing transportation, cooking meals and completing light housework, Home Helpers Caregivers are helping clients live independently in the comfort of their own homes.

“Home Helpers is supplying a valuable service to meet a rapidly growing demand,” stated Dickison. “We believe the success of our business model is due to passionate, committed franchise owners. We provide our franchisees with the tools they need to meet the demands of this rapidly growing market: extensive training, continuous support and proven systems. By following this program and using the strongest, most sophisticated marketing program in the industry, our franchisees have a great opportunity for success.”
