Kickbox-fitness franchise business 9Round Franchising, LCC recently came in at number 112 on the Franchise 500 from Entrepreneur Magazine. This is the highest ranking the brand has received and its seventh year in a row on the list. It also claimed the fifth-highest position out of 21 companies in the fitness category on this year's list.
Since it began four decades ago, Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 list has become a leading tool for entrepreneurs researching potential franchise opportunities and a competitive measure for franchise brands.
Brand CEO and Founder Shannon Hudson said that the company's inclusion in the list is exciting since it's a highly-sought franchise industry honor and the brand has been included on it for seven out of the ten years since its founding. Hudson added that as the franchise moves in 2019, they anticipate more success via more international expansion and updates to the current franchise system.
More than 1,000 brands applied to be a part of the Franchise 500 for 2019, making this year's list one of the most competitive in its history. The main factors that Entrepreneur uses to evaluate applicants for the ranking are franchise fees and costs; brand strength, growth and size; stability; and financial strength. Each brand included receives a cumulative score based on the analysis of over 150 data points, and the 500 brands with the highest total scores become the list in ranking order.
