After she left her position as a Chief Technology Officer at a major corporation, Hendriks decided to explore franchising opportunities and go into business for herself. She was first introduced to the restoration sector when she had to deal with a home emergency. One of her rental properties had a tree going through its roof during a big storm. After a bad experience with some workers, she ended up directing the restoration project on her own. This lead her to realize that there had to be a way to improve the homeowner's experience during a restoration, and her wish list for a restoration company led her right to Restoration 1:registered:.
Brand CEO Gary Findley said the company is thrilled to have someone like Hendriks on its team. According to the CEO, her years of customer service experience and understanding of the business on both the company and customer level will lead her to big things with the brand. Currently, Hendriks is getting her certifications in fire and smoke, odor control, safety, water damage restoration and more, and that's in addition to the franchisee training she will receive at the brand's headquarters.
