About Us

Batteries Plus is a national franchise specializing in helping consumers and businesses with their battery and light bulb needs. With the opening of our first all battery retail store in 1988 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, we quickly became the leader in the replacement battery market, differentiated by product breadth, availability, and expert knowledge.

Our first franchise location opened in 1992 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and we have continued to grow our network of franchise stores over the last 20 years.

In 2010, we recognized the growing demand for light bulbs being fueled by the transition to energy saving alternatives and we added light bulbs to our unique offering of products.

Today, Batteries Plus is the nation’s largest and fastest growing battery and light bulb franchise, offering a comprehensive selection of batteries and light bulbs to meet the increasing demands of both retail and business customers alike.

Batteries Plus Supports Veterans
