Pinch A Penny Awards Top Franchise Business Honor
Pinch A Penny Pool Patio and Spa, the largest pool service, retail and repair franchise business, just announced that franchisees Susan and Chip Campbell will receive the brand's Founder's Award for 2019. This award recognizes those leading franchisees who are a stellar example of the brand's commitment to value, quality, service and its family values. The Campbells received the high honor at the pool company's yearly expo in Orlando, Florida.
Chip and Susan Campbell acquired their first location in Tampa, Florida, two decades ago. Since then, they have transformed three under-performing locations into some of the brand's top stores by volume. This husband-and-wife franchisee team have two stores they own and operate in Sarasota and Lakeland, Florida, currently.
Brand CEO and President John Thomas praised the couple, saying their willingness to help other franchisees grow, their work ethics and their investment in the development of their employees are exactly what the Founder's Award embodies. According to the CEO and President, the success of the Campbells is a testament to the potential for success for those who take advantage of the brand's franchise opportunities.
Pinch A Penny has held its expo every year for more than three decades, and the 2019 event was attended by 99 percent of the people in its system. Each year, the expo brings together the brand's 250-plus franchises along with their family members and teams. Over the three days of the expo, the brand hosts networking events and educational sessions, in addition to a dinner in which top-performing franchisees are honored. The event ends with a day-long trade show with vendors demonstrating services, products and tools in the service, retail and pool industries.
Established in 1975, Pinch a Penny has since grown to over 250 stores across Texas and the Southeast. This brand has been honored with many top franchise rankings, including the Franchise Times Top 200 and Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 list. Currently, this pool franchise brand has franchise opportunities available in many markets, including Georgia, Louisiana and South Carolina. The initial investment for this brand ranges from $249,100 and $589,800, which includes a $37,500 franchise fee.
