Farm Stores Franchise Business Expanding in Florida
The chain's 550-square-foot Webber Street franchise business location has been in Sarasota since the 1960s, but it will be getting an overhaul within one year. Currently, Farm Fresh has 80 locations nationwide. Five of those are in Tampa, Florida, and the brand is planning to add 50 new locations between Sarasota and Tampa.
Brand Chief Operating Officer Maurice Bared says the Sarasota market could see as many as four new locations over the next two years as the company is confident in the local market there but feels it's currently being under-served.
New Farm Stores locations will have a new design palette and other amenities, such as freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh breads made in less than two minutes, and specialty hot drinks. According to Bared, the brand is also working on a new app that will allow customers to place delivery orders via Uber and will track customer points and rewards.
Farm Stores offers customers a wide variety of products, including dairy, snacks, freshly baked goods, leading household cleaning supplies and produce, along with the ultimate in convenience thanks to its full-service drive-through. This farm-themed chain has franchise opportunities available in many states
, including New York, California and Texas. To qualify for one of these franchise opportunities, applicants need some type of business or management experience. The franchise fee is $25,000, and the total initial investment ranges from $245,800 to $540,000.
