Travel agents do play a role in many life events, such as honeymoons, noted Daly, who also added that this program could extend beyond weddings and into proms and milestone birthday events.
Program participants will be able to access David's Bridal customers via multiple channels, including an opportunity for agents to meet with brides before or after dressing fittings and the ability to join in on store events. CruiseOne/Dream Vacations has also arranged a promotion deal with vendors exclusively for this partnership, and participants will receive branded kits along with customizable media and promotional materials for store use.
The partnership with David's Bridal is just one part of the wedding and romance resources that are available to this home-based travel brand's franchisees. Previously, the travel company kicked off a partnership with Honeymoon Wishes, an online and full-service gift registry for honeymooners that makes it easier for agents to book all aspects of a client's honeymoon trip, including their excursions and travel arrangements. Franchisees of this brand also have to ability to create group registration websites, a tool that allows them to customize professional group event sites that display payment schedules, amenity choices, itineraries and more.
