Caring Transitions Franchise Business' 2019 Rising Star

Caring Transitions of Rockwall franchisees Amy and Craig Edwards have earned the brand's "Rising Star Award." This accolade is given to new franchises who show strong business growth and leadership over the course of their first year in business. The Edwards received the award in February at the franchise business brand's national conference.

Brand President Ray Fabik said the Edwards have laid the foundation for their business's future by setting an extraordinarily high customer service standard and building on the brand name in their market. According to Fabik, the Rockwall franchisees are both community and franchisee leaders, so the brand was thrilled to recognize them with this national honor.

Caring Transitions offers several home moving and sale services, including online and in-person estate sales, organization and packing, resettling, clear-outs, moving and home sale preparation. This franchise specializes in assisting relocating seniors, but its services are also ideal for people who need help and busy families. Since its services are customizable, clients only pay for the services they truly need.

Craig Edwards said the couple focused on providing the best customer service possible from the start, and that decision helped them start out strong and have a great first year. Other successful franchisees in the area, such as Rex Norris and Donna Rea, had also helped establish the brand in the area previously, and Edwards credits this as a tremendous help.

Both of the Rockwall franchisees are from Texas. Amy Edwards was a teacher who later stayed at home to raise the couple's children, while Craig Edwards worked in the wholesale food business. Their franchise opened in March of 2018, and it serves the Wylie, Sachse, Heath, Rowlett and Rockwall areas of Texas, in addition to surrounding communities.
