About Karim Haji
Karim is the Owner/CEO of Grafton Way Restaurant Group based in Houston. He grew up in London, England and decided to come to Texas to get away from the dreary rain! The sunny skies of Houston brought warmth as well as success. In 2001 Karim opened up with one franchise restaurant in Sugar Land, TX at 21 years old. He has now grown Grafton Way Restaurant Group into a multi-unit franchise operator that works with Great Wraps Grill, Charley’s Philly Steaks, and the Houston-based Bullritos.
From serving customers and cooking in the kitchen to negotiating with landlords and creating training systems – he has worked in every aspect of a fast casual restaurant. Any member of GWRG will tell you that even though he’s moved to an office, Karim will happily get to the grill and make the best cheesesteak you’ve ever had!
