With its focus on supporting and growing with people who have served in the Armed Forces, auto care service provider Meineke has recently earned a spot on the 2018 "Top Franchisee for Veterans" ranking by Entrepreneur Magazine.
The auto care brand was ranked number 36 on the list, which ranks the top 150 franchisers offering programs, support and other incentives to help veterans take advantage of franchise opportunities.
Brand Vice President of Franchise Development John Moreau said the company is honored to provide veterans with an opportunity that recognizes their service to the country and builds on their strengths. According to Moreau, veterans often have the unique experience, skill set and perspective that positions them for success as a franchisee, and the brand is happy to keep providing the incentives and resources that encourage veterans to join their franchise business system.
To become part of this annual list, companies must take part in a survey that allows Entrepreneur to learn more about the veteran programs they offer. Factors considered for ranking determination including veteran incentive, how veteran franchisees come to the franchiser, the level of support they receive and how each company fared on the magazine's Franchise 500. Once that information is reviewed, the leading 150 concepts that offer the best franchise opportunities for veterans are included on the list.
Founded in 1972 and a division of Driven Brands, Inc., a leading automotive aftermarket franchise, Meineke has close to 900 centers that offer various auto services to customers. Its franchise fee is $35,000, and the initial investment ranges from $250,000 to $300,000.
