Chem-Dry, the biggest floor and carpet cleaning franchise business in the world, is following up its successful expansion in Africa and worldwide by signing a master franchise agreement in Morocco.
Brand Vice President of International Development Joe Manuszak says that while the brand is the largest of its type globally, it's still growing and offering franchise opportunities to people in many areas. According to Manuszak, the company is seeing strong growth in regions with an emerging middle class, and this master agreement signing is building on the momentum they're seeing across Africa.
Over the last three decades, this carpet and floor cleaning brand has proven itself in markets from the Caribbean to the Southeast, and it is enjoying tremendous success in Africa with master agreements now in place in Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Guyana, Tanzania, Libya, Angola and, most recently, Morocco. Sidi Mohamed El Khallaki, an entrepreneur in Morocco, purchased the Moroccan rights from the brand and now can open over 40 new locations in that country. The new master franchisee says he is honored to have secured the brand rights in the country and is looking forward to working with the company as his business grows. The areas of Marrakesh, Casablanca and Fez have all experienced growth, with a number of new hotels opening, and the master franchisee believes the brand is the solution to upholstery, rug and floor cleaning for those new developments.
Chem-Dry provides hard surface, carpet and upholstery cleaning services using its environmentally-friendly Hot Carbonating Extraction process and also offers stone and tile cleaning and granite countertop refreshing services. With close to 3,500 locations, this brand is still looking to expand at home and abroad. One of these franchise opportunities carries an initial total investment that ranges from $56,495 to $161,957.
